First of all, let me say that I do NOT play piano...it's more like playing around on the piano. But I love to be alone with the Lord and play and sing praises. He says to "make a joyful noise"...so I try and obey.
Many years ago we had a piano. At the time we were hurting financially, and then our transmission went out in our car! So I ended up selling my piano to pay for the transmission, with the promise of a new (well...new used) piano when we could afford it. That was back in 1998....10 years ago!
Instead of a piano, we were looking for an electronic one called a Clavinova. Watching Craig's List and Ebay closely, some were a bunch more than I wanted to pay (like...$1,500!)
Googling "Clavinova for sale Knoxville" and it resulted in finding a private UT listing with one for $175!!! The lady who was selling it is moving to Australia and had to get rid of it NOW. She had listed it in the beginning of June and had no responses.
I almost didn't go thinking that if it was that cheap there had to be something wrong with it. But I went anyway, and it played wonderfully!
It is so nice to have a piano again. I'm doing a happy dance!! Once again a demonstration of God's Awesome Grace.
I am...

I am glad to hear that you have a piano once again. And I know that it will be loved in your home.
My dear child had an interest in the piano, so I started him on lessons. Suddenly the interest came to an abrupt halt. Sigh.
