God is AMAZING!

Then you knew that already!

I wanted to share something that just happened to me. God is so faithful and cares about even the little things in our lives.

My keys were lost. Last time I used them was Sunday. We did not go anywhere on Monday, but Tuesday when I went to take Jonathan to VBS, my keys were no where to be found. Mike had a key stashed for such occasions, but it was only the car key, not a house key, or the rest of my boatload of keys. Knowing they had to be "someplace" around, I did not panic. But, after cleaning the house and looking thru all my purses, they did not show themselves.

In the car today after dropping Janeen off at work, I simply asked the Lord to show me where my keys were. Just like a snapshot of a beloved picture, an image of blankets came into my mind, with that image, a strong sense that my keys were under them. I recognized these were the blankets in the back of my van. I immediately shared with Jonathan. Telling him that God had told me exactly where my keys were. I honestly had no doubt. It was that real. I wanted him to be part of this little miracle, to see that God really does answer prayers...to know He cares about us!

So I get him out of the van, we open the back and look under the blanket, and sure enough...guess what??? Absolutely right!!! There were my keys! Jonathan was like "Mom...you've got some connections!
"Not just me, honey...He's there for everyone!
It reminds me of a chorus I love: (and I'm singing it as I type this...)
The Steadfast Love of the Lord never ceases
His mercies never come to an end
They are new every morning
New every morning
Great is Thy Faithfulness Oh God
Great is Thy Faithfulness!
Forever I will be....

Oh , yes, it is for everyone! I cannot count how many times I have asked the God who sees everything to show me where a lost item was. And He has always been faithful....even when I have "seen" that it was long gone and wouldn't be returned!

Our God who sees also sees the lost dreams, lost hopes and lost loves. We can ask Him to show us how to find them too!

Love you, Donna! May J forever depend on the truth that God is always there for him wanting to show him the way!

Love, Carolynn

This is so awesome! We have had those experiences as well, but never quite that vividly. I love to keep things like this in my memory for the times I feel discouraged. :)

I LOVE when He does stuff like that, especially when our kids can be there to see that He really does care about details like where the keys are! Thanks for sharing that sweet story.
