To Him (or Her) Who Has Eyes...

I've not blogged for a while because even the light from the computer was too much for my poor eye to handle. Which means driving and watching TV and basically keeping my eyes open doing anything has been painful.

How often do we (do I!) forget to be grateful to God for things like being able to see...not just computers and TV's, but a sunrise or the faces of our loved ones or reading the Word of God. Or for our ears to hear, the birds singing or the laugh of our child, or a Song of Praise.

I think sometimes we have a few days like I've had this week just to remind us how we can take for granted so many things that God has given us to help our lives be so full of joy.

At this point my eye is somewhat better, at least enough to write this little blog. And for this I am grateful!

I am...

Glad to hear you are better.

I agree that we sometimes take so much for granted! What a blessing we have to see, hear, taste, feel, and smell. I think the majority of things available to our senses are wonderful, but then there are those few ugly things that our enemy would like us to focus on! For this reason I turn off the news and watch the beauties of creation!

Donna, you are so good to remind us of those little blessings1 Thanks!

Excellent reminder of the things for which we need to be grateful.

Friends are another. (hint, hint!)

Glad you've become my friend!

Sometimes I only wish for a few days to shut my eyes, and rest! Yes, God gives us what we need, when we need them. I found your blog through a comment you posted on "Juggling as Fast...". We took a trip through TN last year, and stopped in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. We loved it!
