Happy Birthday to Me!

Yep...it's my birthday.
Another year. They seem to be coming faster and faster. In my late 30's to early 40's I did NOT like my birthday. With every year, the biological clock ticked louder and louder.

Wanting another baby so much, I just hated getting older, knowing that it meant my chances were decreasing. The thought of not having another baby saddened my heart.

But God heard my cry. And after 2 miscarriages, I finally conceived Jonathan Ryan Cooper. I was almost 44 when he was born. Some people think it was crazy to have a baby at my age...and some feel sorry for me. But honestly, he has given me so many reasons to bless the Lord. God's timing is perfect. What would I do without my precious little guy??

So now I don't mind birthdays at all. My life is full. Full of love, full of God's blessings and full of God's grace.

I am...

Donna

TEN TEN REASONS THIS BIRTHDAY GREETING IS LATE

10. I was out collecting cans and bottles along the roadside in order to have enough money to eat and...well, time just flew by. (Note: I used all our money and mortgaged the house to buy one tank of gas.)

9. I took a bullet for the president and have just regained consciousness.

8. I didn't want to be the first to remind you that your another year closer to the "big sleep".

7. I just gave birth to septuplets.

6. I was busy conducting sensitive negotiations that may have a long lasting spring peace to our troubles planet.

5. Just emerged from serfing on your new web site since yesterday and just got finished.

4. I'm tired... I'm so very tired.

3. I was arrested after getting into an express line with thirteen items.

2. I was stricken with a very rare form of amnesia that affected only my ability to remember birthdays.

AND...THE NUMBER ONE REASON THIS BIRTHDAY GREETING IS LATE

I'm thoughtless and don't deserve to live. (It may sound harsh, but it needs to be said.)

I hope you had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Love,

Jim (as in your brother)

P.S. I am amazed by your WEB Site.
